Make new friends and raise a purple glass to support a good cause! Ever wish you could go to happy hour and actually meet new people? Ever wish you had the time to do something to support a worthy cause? Austin Purple Happy Hour is the Meetup for you! We have partnered with local area bars to create signature purple cocktails. Each month we meet at a different bar for a different purple cocktail created especially for us. For just a $10 donation, you get a purple wristband which entitles you to purchase all of the specially priced purple cocktail you can drink! What's more, 100% of the $10 donation at the door goes directly to charity. Our fabulous purple-wearing hosts facilitate the meeting and mingling, so you are guaranteed to meet new people and have a good time. We are not aligned with a specific charity -- initially proceeds will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Going forward group members will be welcome to nominate other worthy causes for support.
